Many of you know about Oracle’s ACE program which recognizes individuals with strong Oracle credentials and who are also active in the Oracle community as enthusiasts and advocates.

Given that definition it’s no surprise that our very own Director of Sales and Marketing, John Stouffer, has just been recognized as a new Oracle ACE!

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you probably aren’t surprised.

John has been active for years in the Oracle community and has become a recognized presenter at OpenWorld and Collaborate. Plus if you don’t make these larger events you have probably caught him speaking at dozens of regional and local Oracle User Groups around the country.

Here’s an interesting Factoid: John recently presented on Oracle topics in Japan and Australia as well.

I could go on about the books he has contributed to but you are probably ready for some humor in this post so I’ll stop with the A&E biography.

One little known benefit of the ACE designation is that John now receives one free mixed drink at any Happy Hour attended by fellow Oracle consultants. Now that you know this, you can be sure that this benefit is regularly bestowed on him!
